IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Assoc.) is the use of practical equipment including full charger service ammunition to solve simulated real world self-defense scenarios using practical handguns and holsters that are suitable for self-defense use. The main goal is to test the skill and ability of an individual. Have you ever wanted to participate in an IDPA competition but don't know where to start? This class is designed to show you what to expect. We will also take you through a mini course of fire. After this course is completed, you will be invited to a live competition date at Izaak Walton on Brown Road in Oxford, Ohio. Should you choose to attend the competition on your own, we will be there to help in anyway that we can to ensure that your training from this class is put to good use and gives you the confidence to keep competing! For this class you will need to bring: -Personal Handgun -Outside the Waistband Holster -2-3 Magazines with holders -Gun Belt -50 rounds of ammunition If you need help finding or purchasing these items, please contact Scarlet at Mayday Gun Range. Payment may not be transfered to other merchandise, lessons, classes guns, or ammunition. You are not eligible to move to a future class date but you are welcome to send someone in your place.
